Trying to get the scan option working in Ad-aware

Hello,
I am currently following the steps to remove ad/yieldmanager.com as per below thread -

I have downloaded and installed the Ad-aware free software, however when I go to run the full scan, the option to run the scan is disabled. I have activated the free trial version as well. I have attached the screenshot of the software.

Any help would be highly appreciated.
