Was wondering if this has ever happened to anyone. I am on a windows 7 desktop.
-I was away on vacation but noticed that my wifi data usage was way up in the month (~350gb) despite no one being home to use it. I did leave the comp on though.
-I tried to do a full scan using my McAfee program but it crashes before completion. The comp has been running slow for a while. The quick scans do not detect anything.
-i can still run programs, web browse etc with no clear signs of foul play. Although the completed freezes up quite a bit to the point i need to restart.
does any have any tips on this type of a problem? Is getting a different virus protection the answer?
