Hi I need help. I have too many pop-ups and ads that come up when I click simple pages like yahoo or cnn, yet my pop-ups are blocked as per my settings in my browser.
How can I get rid of these pop-ups and ads? On some pages some words are double-underlined in blue and if you hover over them then a pop-up pops up. I've done a full system scan and full virus scan but none of these gets rid of them. Ive tried adwcleaner and it restarted my system as part of the scan, but nothing has changed. At the bottom of most pages an ad comes. From the side of the page an ad sweeps in. Sometimes just clicking within the page attracts a pop up ad.
What more can I do? Are there some programs that I need to uninstall or disable or delete? Appreciate some suggestions for the layman, Cheers.
