I have only read about Bios virus's never seen one or talked to anyone that has seen one. I have been a computer tech since windows 95 days. The computer is a lenovo 3000 h215. Went to the clients office and the cpu was at 100% the system had 4 files with random letter names and were in HKCU run. Could not delete the files. Booted to a usb disk and deleted the files and the reg entry. Still came back when computer was booted. Client had to leave so I took the computer to the office. Had the computer in safe mode and it just shut down. Now it will not go past the post before rebooting. I can get into bios and it looks normal. I can make changes and save them. Went to lenovo web site and no bios update or file is available. Right now with no bios file the computer is a brick. Any help would be great!!
