Help!! I have fallen prey to a browser hijack i am unable to get rid off. I have tried Malwarebytes, Ad-aware, Spybot, AVG (which is my antivirus and firewall software, CWShreader, and Hijack This. I have run Combofix and TDSkiller. RKquarantine and Goorefix. Nothing has stopped it or detected it. Nothing I have run shows that I have a virus, yet when I am in Firefox, it pretty much redirects me to a page other than what I've searched on/clicked on 50% of the time. HELP.
Curiously, it ONLY seems to have affected Firefox. I also have explorer and Chrome but neither has the same problem. I do prefer Firefox and although I could get rid of it and live without it, it bothers me that something is in my Registry doing this.
Help?
