Two seperate browsers were hacked

Hello, I was recently given the task to fix my coworkers laptop which is running windows 7 by the way. The problem he was having was annoying ads constantly popping up and was unable to run any kind of spyware or malware security program. Anyways, I was able to get rid of 786 trojans using malwarebytes and keep his computer secure for the most part. But upon doing this I was also able to find the source of the problem. Both of his browsers have been hacked to redirect to more malicious websites. If I use internet explorer to try and go to google I receive the 403 forbidden error screen. In google chrome, when I try to search for anything using the omnibox it is simply redirected to another google page but the address reads google.isearchinfo.com. I have followed some online instructions to change back the omnibox search engine but had no luck. The same with internet explorer. So I am guessing it's a deep rooted problem like something in the registry maybe. Unfortunately, I'm not really comfortable messing with that. So if anyone could help me out here that would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
