Hi folks, (I hope this is the correct place to post this)
(Background) I've used FF for years and was using ver 65, 64bit, on Win 10, latest build and up to date. Occasionally, my Malwarebytes, flags and stops an outbound (call home) "something" that emanates from my "C drive".....See below:

IP Address: 40.123.47.58
Port: [49892]
Type: Outbound
File: C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe
Usually I run scans and one of those programs, like "Rogue Killer" etc, takes care of it. This time it didn't and my "mess up" begins.
I went to " C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" and could not find anything (I probably wouldn't know what I was looking for anyway).
First I deleted the FF.exe file, which looked like another short cut. I thought that wouldn't do much harm.
Second Of course, FF would not open,
So Third I uninstalled FF, using Revo Uninstaller
Fourth I downloaded and installed FF.
Of course, by then I realized that I would have to reset up FF again, for everything. (Stupid, Stupid) Everything including my "Bookmarks" which were gone.
Please help! Is there a way I can retrieve my "Bookmarks" from somewhere? (Somehow I don't think there is but what do I know?)
I can send any other info you all might need, I'm just hoping someone can help.....
Yours,
Stan
