Crippling virus

Hello folks,

I think my laptop contracted a virus.

Symptoms:
Bitdefender disabled ("services are not responding")
Chrome exits immediately
Firefox wont go to any websites either ("security risk")

Causes:
Before this started i connected my smartphone to the computer, and also restarted the computer for updates to be installed (win8).

What to do? Please please help!
