OS: Windows 8.1 x64
AV: AVG + Malwarebytes
So today i downloaded this http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/iehv.zip
From IE HistoryView: Freeware Internet Explorer History Viewer
I unzipped the file, and scanned it with AVG before opening it.(was clean)
When i clicked on the iehv.exe file, it didn't open anything and it disappeared.
Tried again and had the same behavior.
Now i know that in most cases this is a trojan etc... i also checked startup in msconfig and processes in task manager and did not see anything suspicious.
