Hello,

I would appreciate any help tackling the problem my emachines laptop is experiencing.

It is running Windows XP. The virus found is Win 32/Heur.

Files concerned are C:\WINDOWS\system32\fxsapi.dll

The scan result states the object is white-listed (critical/system file that should not be removed)

It also alerts of a corrupted section ntkrnlpa.exe [PAGE] NtConnectPort=0x1ED8, size 4 bytes
