Re: Administrator Rights Vanished Windows7

I have recently lost the ability to download anything, or even move things into folders. I have the only account on my computer, but it will not offer me the opportunity to approve the actions.

I ran AVG antivirus, which removed 82 tracking cookies, then I ran Malwarebytes and removed 3 threats. (even I can see that I must have a security issue)

After rebooting, I see no improvement.


I used this at the command prompt:


regedit /e C:\Note.txt "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\system" & start notepad C:\note.txt

I received the following:

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\system]

I have a Toshiba Satellite C655 laptop, with Windows7 home premium, Build 7601
