Hello,
I'm running Win8 on a Samsung 880Z Notebook
Yesterday my access to webpages through chrome was cut off, I switched over to Firefox without a hitch. Today Firefox is also cut off -
I can still connect to the internet through various gaming platforms and communications software (Skype, Steam, B.net Launcher, League of Legends client) which account for the majority of my computer/internet usage.
Once both browsers were down I took a look at my active protection software (McAfee/Norton) and noticed that Norton was also completely cut off from the internet.
A preliminary web search on my mobile device for troubleshoot requests by users who have encountered a similar problem leads me to believe that my computer is likely infected.
I'm a novice to such forums, I hope I have provided enough information to start with, thank you for taking the time to read this and for your assistance if provided. I will be actively awaiting replies while I scour the articles section for tips on future prevention and recommended procedures/activities/software.
Warmly,
James
