but let me do a very short brief to you introducing my case.
I am been gusing Comodo Internet Security Suite for a long time, but few days ago, It detected a threat while I was surfing the net, (I do not recall if it said virus or only threat).. and because Comodo was not able to dissinfect my computer I unninstalled it and perform a series of scans with other soft.
First I ran Malwarebytes and I remember that it showed two harms... I am sorry but I do not remember the names...
Then I ran Eset online Scanner and also detected a bunch of other viruses.
Cleaned them (I ran the software in safe mode) and just for protection I installed Bitdefender Free antivirus, which is the one I am using rigth now.
In one moment, Bitdefender poped up and it seemed to clean another virus. So I was suspicious about if my computer was really clean..
So 3 days ago, I ran Kaspersky Antivirus Tool (also in safe mode) but no threats were detected.
The problem was that after that I was getting a windows startup error which was the cause of posting in this forum (You can take a sneak peak at the link above). Thanks to the help of user Joeten, with the Microsoft Fix It tool I am not getting errors at start up but I am still suspicious of being infected by any malware, trojan or virus that the software I ran could not detect.
So that is the meaning of this thread.
I just ran the DDS and GMER scanners and want to share the results here so maybe anyone could look at them and tell me if there is anything potentially harmful on my computer.
P.S.: Currently I do not have the Windows install CDs... My computer is a Toshiba Laptop which has the CDs in a hidden partition so you can burn them into physical disc but did not burnt them ever since I bought it.
