Hello everyone Usually I am very careful with downloading things, and feel I am the last person who might catch the malware. But this time I did things in a hurry as I just bought new SSD & HDD so I carelessly downloaded 2 programs from suspicious sites (joydownload & soft32.com). At least the first thing I installed was AVIRA free, which didn't find any suspicion in any of the files. I have also declined to install every weird program add on it offered. So here are the virustotal reports from both installers: https://www.virustotal.com/en/file/8...is/1384903167/ https://www.virustotal.com/en/file/4...is/1384903217/ I am also using Malwarebytes, but it does not work as real-time protection so I missed it this time. Later I deleted both files with malwarebytes, which didn't find any other malware on my pc, neither did AVIRA full scan. But what really scares me are ThreatExpert Reports: ThreatExpert Report ThreatExpert Report Both of them have some weird internet connections established and traffic outbound. I have also used HijackThis & GMER scan, which didn't find anything. And my computer is not acting weird or anyhow suspicious. (Except that I get lots of google findings to soft32.com everytime I search the program I would like to download, don't know if that's normal. My concern is Can I be 100% sure I am safe? Would you suggest anything else to check ? I am using SSD 250 GB = where my windows and main files are stored + 3.0 TB HDD where everything else is = that includes most downloads from firefox. edit= I am using win7 now with latest updates
