I don't know what to do. Lately, when I open Google and type a search, I get redirected to a place in the UK. I've run virus and malware programs and I've done a system restore. No help.
Initially, I noticed when looking through my installed programs, that I had one that looked strange, namely appbario 16 toolbar 6.15.0.27. I uninstalled and also uninstalled ffdshow & haali media splitter. Then I deleted all Google extensions. I thought I had it done but I still have the problem with the redirects, especially when I type directly in the address bar.
I use windows 7 and Google Chrome 29.0.1547.66 m. I have Toshiba Satellite.
